Welcome to my blog.
I'm creating a blog to counter the scattering of negative feelings I have with the popular press. It seemed to me, that I needed to instead to contemplate my navel as the more practically inclined might say. This should come easy as I do this best. I would like to gather my scattered thoughts and share them with an aim to offering more than just popular thinking.
I graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, a minor in Greek. Fast forward 26 years and several jobs later, I graduated with an MBA from Western Governors University, and realizing the term before I graduated that what I really wanted is to have a career in science, math or engineering. I'm not sure which of those three will be my final destination but I'm pretty sure the religion degree gave me a solid grounding in ethics and philosophy, the MBA gave me a solid grounding in commerce but without a solid grounding in math and science, my life would float away into a void of purposelessness.
As this blog matures, I hope to discuss my favorite subjects: photography, art and theatre. particularly the theatre of Tennessee Williams.
I've been interested in a lot of subjects over the years and hopefully by now I have begun to have a reasonable outlook on them all.
With that, I roll-out the welcome mat of hospitality....enjoy!!!
Now almost 11 years later on June 13, 2021, planning to develop this blog into something fun to read.
